Psychotherapist

You are not the problem.

The problem is the problem.

Before I went to therapy I was suffering with depression, burnout, anxiety, addiction and more. But I would soon experience the power of working with a pro, and it saved my life. I'd be honored to help you like my therapist helped me.

I offer practical solutions you can start using right away, as well as a safe space to let it all out and explore the root of your challenges. I like to be collaborative, and I won't sit in silence and occasionally ask "what do YOU think you should do?". We're gonna tackle your stuff together and get you moving in your desired direction.

In addition to my extensive experience working with teens and adults, my 10+ years in the entertainment industry provides me with personal insight to help those in the creative community. You can reauthor your story, and it can start like this: You are not the problem, the problem is the problem.

Areas of Expertise

Depression

To treat depression, many therapists recommend quickly getting into action with exercise, meditation, socializing, etc. These are certainly effective! But sometimes it's best to honor your depression. Healing might actually begin by doing things our society unjustly shames us for, like sleeping in, drawing the shades, or eating that pint of ice cream. My clients often feel immediate relief at the thought of this. And from there, the healing continues.

Addiction & Substance Use

Addiction doesn't need to take over your life. If you're ready for change, you can do it, and I can help if you'd like. If you're NOT ready, I get it, and I'll still be on your side. My own experiences with addiction and recovery have equipped me with more tools than my masters degree ever could. I'm ready when you are.

Teens & Young Adults

I have extensive experience working with teens & young adults who face challenges with depression, anxiety, substance use, ADHD, relationships, academic stress and more. Forming an identity is crucial to this age group, and I've had the honor of guiding many young people through the process. Their future is bright if they get the support they need.

Creative Blocks & Artist Related Stress

Your next idea already exists, it just needs to be revealed. That melody, that joke, that painting, poem, novel, script or design... it has come to you before and it will happen again. So let's explore your life, mind, emotions etc. and see what there is to find. Having made a living as an artist/performer myself, I can use my personal insight to help you on your path. If this resonates with you, you resonate with me. And I'm excited to begin.

Anxiety

Anxiety sucks. But there are tools you can use right away to make it suck less. And when the fog of anxiety clears, we can search for the source of the problem and make it practically suck free. Have I said suck too much? Let's get to work.

ADHD

An ADHD brain can be like a cluttered room. As you move from one thought to the next, you may bump into clutter along the way. Sometimes you can get around it, but when there's too much it can stop you in your tracks & divert your attention. This is how I described my own ADHD before I learned tricks, tools, & creative hacks that I can teach you.

Creators/Influencers
This specialty is as niche as it gets. Only 3% of the US population is considered an influencer, and being a former influencer myself, I'm one of the few therapists who can draw from personal experience to help this population.

Being an creator is often difficult and demanding. There are drastic highs and lows, nearly constant demands for content, rapid rises to fame & and pressure to maintain it. There are brand deal negotiations, phone addiction, social hierarchies, online trolls, and much more. Severe burnout is what finally caused me to step away, which is highly prevalent in the social media world. It may look like an easy career, but being a creator is challenging and complicated.
